So how are you all doing? It is an odd time we are living through, isn’t it?
What have you been upto? Well, I am trying to get somethings finished before I start new projects ( we’ll see how long that lasts 😂)
So I have finished a couple of WIPS, one is a display garment for the shop from the Rowan Spring Summer Magazine 67. I knitted Beauvoir by Georgia Farrell, in Kidsilk Haze and Fine lace, held together so it gives a beautiful soft feel. I choose different shades to the ones in the magazine as there is so much scope to play with colour when you are combining two yarns – especially when they have such an amazing shade range. Apologies for the photo… not the easiest colour to capture and it is a tad small for me to model, when I have it in the shop I will put up another photo.
The other is my Discord Hat by Bristol Ivy – I just had to knit this 😁, if you want the details look on my Ravelry page
I cast on for the large size and when I started on the decreasing discovered I had cast on more stitches than I needed 🤦♀️ ….so I had to do some creative knitting 😁 but I think it looks fantastic.. what do you think?
Then I have also gone back to my Tuck Stitches book by Nancy Marchant, to try out each stitch, I had managed to get to number 34 but then stopped. So now it seems like a good time to pick it up again. Also there are more pictures on my Ravelry page.
The shop is closed until the social distancing and isolation is lifted. This means I no longer see you all and I, like all small (and large) businesses, worry about what the future may bring. Please remember us when this is over….
Not having an online shop means that I am not sending out loveliness to you and that makes me sad. However if you live in Mold and are desperate I can include you on my daily exercise, so get in touch…. I will popping into the shop at regular intervals, so you can leave a message and I can get back to you.
I hope you are staying safe, keeping busy, exercising and taking time out to breath each day.
