June Happenings

So again an other month has whizzed by and with the fantastic weather we have been having, knitting and crocheting has not been on the agenda for many.  However we have been open and enjoying the steady stream of folk who are looking for that unusual or local yarn.

So what did we get up to in June, we had these fantastic works of art from Ruth Makes Jewellery Brilliant row counters that double as a funky, jangly bangle.

This Simplicity Cardigan was knitted from the top down so can be made as long as you like and have sleeves to the length you would like, it can be knitted in the Rowan Denim lace ( so cool and airy) or any other lace weight yarn you’d like.

The workshops in June were good and coincided with Sewing workshops next door at Amanda’s Fabric, so Earl Road was the place to be!

So Exciting!

How do I describe all the emotions that are going on!  The main one being excitement as I embark on a new adventure in the yarn world.

The plans for the shop are progressing, although there is work to do on the premises before I can get in!  Then of course there is the work to get the shop looking good 🙂

I have started ordering yarn, and know what else I will be stocking but you will have to wait and see…

Thanks David.

As soon as the yarn starts to arrive I will keep you informed, keep your eyes on the FB page too!

Happy woolly thoughts x
